Counselor4444
Hi all, Using Better Bidding's HOTWIRE link, I'm looking at a hotel in the Minneapolis Downtown area for 8/19-8/22 for 4 adults. The 4 star hotel that comes up for $109 has the following amenities: smoke free, fitness, restaurant, business center, high speed internet, and golf nearby. Any ideas? Thx. Link to comment

Counselor4444
We are looking for the Hyatt Regency which according to BB's hotel list offers a tennis amenity. So, we are not going to book this. I am going to keep waiting and seeing if the Hyatt is offered. Link to comment
travelbunny
Just a warning about the Hyatt. We stayed there once and were told it had a sauna but in order to use these "upgraded" amenities, we had to pay extra. Not sure, but be warned that the tennis might not be included. Link to comment

So, we are not going to book this.Keep in mind that the Tennis icon is Tennis nearby which could mean on the premises or simply that there is a court nearby. The court nearby could be a private facility raquet club where there would most certainly be a fee or a local park where the may/may not be a fee. If you're holding out for the Hyatt simply to play Tennis, i'd give them a call first to see if they have courts on property or not... for if they're not on site then likely most hotels in the area could potentially offer the tennis nearby icon. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
