My first bid was accepted today by Priceline. I entered $45 for a 4star hotel in the "Downtown" area of St. Louis and I received the Hyatt @ the Arch. The bid was $45 and with tax, the total is $60.

I actually started the bid with 1 night, and then added the 2nd night after my offer was accepted. I am planning to stay Sept. 11-14th, but right now my hotel is only booked through the 13th. I didn't realize that Priceline only lets you extend your winning bid by the amount of nights that you originally request. For example, I originally just bid for 1 night (Sept. 11), and I won. Then I requested to extend the stay, but the max. I can extend it by, is 1 night. Bummer! I will just have to try and bid again for the last night.

I did use this websites PRICELINE link as well. Thanks to everyone else for all the info and tips on bidding, definitely a helpful website! :)
