Priceline Hotel: 4* NYC (CPS) Renaissance Hotel 57

Initally started trying for a 4 star in MTW for $120. Added rebids and up to $130. Quit session. Then, went back in hoping to get the Affinia Manhattan (MSG) for $100 as I saw a win with that amount. No luck with rebids. Wound up bidding on 4 and 3.5s in MSG, MTW, TS, MTE and finally CPS but went from $100 to $145. Was afraid I'd be paying $145 for a room in the Affinia that someone won for $100. Didn't want to go too high since I'll be attending the US Open and will not be in the room much.

AAA for the Sunday night of Labor Day weekend for the Renaissance is $263 prepaid. So, guess I got a good rate. Am concerned about the single double bed for 2 adults. But, looks like it's a great location. Bid through this site.

I did call the hotel right away to give them my Marriotts member number hoping that might help get two beds upon check in. I did put the request on the reservation.
