jeffrey Posted March 12, 2005 Report Posted March 12, 2005 Does anyone know what resort(s) is/are included in the Key Biscayne zone and what bid is typically accepted?
thereuare Posted March 12, 2005 Report Posted March 12, 2005 Welcome to BetterBidding! Are you refering Downtown Miami? If so there are no resorts in this area, you can see what has previously been reported in our PRICELINE HOTEL LIST.For bidding in any area (this one or another area of Miami with resorts) please provide the dates of your stay, as rates, as therefore bidding strategies, differ from day to day depending upon current rates. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
jeffrey Posted March 13, 2005 Author Report Posted March 13, 2005 No. There is a separate zone for Key Biscayne, not downtown Miami. It has a resort option listed. Maybe this is new.
thereuare Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 You're correct... this is not a new zone, but it is bid so infrequently (due to high rates) i forgot about it :) A user who knows the area suggested in the past that the only Resort hotels on the island are the Four Seasons and the Sonesta. I highly doubt the Four Seasons participates with Priceline, which basically leaves the Sonesta (again, this is assumes that the prior user was correct in their assessment of the area, but they seemed to know the area well). As far as how much to bid, we'll need the actual date(s) of your stay in order to suggest a strategy. jeffrey Posted March 13, 2005 Author Report Posted March 13, 2005 Thank you. I'm looking at this coming weekend - March 19 and 20 - 2 nights.
thereuare Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 Saturday to Monday?Just how high are you willing to bid to be in this zone? If unsuccessful, will you be staying there anyway (thru an alternate booking service) or would you be choosing a different zone within Miami? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
jeffrey Posted March 13, 2005 Author Report Posted March 13, 2005 I'd probably be willing to bid up to 250 a night. If unsuccessful I'd consider Miami Beach for a resort. I could also have my wife bid if i'm unsuccessful.
thereuare Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 Saturday to Monday? (confirming the dates as you said next weekend, which is typically Fri-Sun) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
