Priceline Hotel: looking for a 3.5 - 4 * Hotel in SF Fishermans Wharf

First time Priceline bidder here. Looking at 3.5 - 4 stars in San Francisco Fishermans Wharf, in 9/12/2010 out 9/15/2010.

Ideally looking to keep the price around $110 or under each night. Recommendations for how to proceed/people's favorite hotels in these areas greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Eh, yeah. I have been looking for this also but as it turns out $110 won't even get you in a 3* although i must say, i was looking for 16-19 september which is probably more expensive. But i also have been up to $135 for 3,5* in FW for those dates and got nothing.

Try to keep an eye on the rates on HOTWIRE.

The best rate i've found on HOTWIRE is 197$ for 3.5* and 213$ for 4*

Another option is Lastminutetravel.com which is offering a couple 4.5*, their rating, hotels in the Union Square area for $133/$139/nite.

I think TjayB is looking for Fishermans warf only...just like me in my priceline hotel thread. I know that narrows down on our chances but thats the way it is.

With HOTWIRE rates at ~$200 i don't thnk $115 seems very likely via PRICELINE... is that your maximum bid for this stay?

Is there something special going on during this period of time, or are these the normal prices?
