Priceline Hotel: Rooms/Persons

Does anyone have any idea how to bid when you need two beds or is it basically a gamble at just getting the room for your budget price????

PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, after that it's at the discretion of the hotel... and if you're looking at NYC a room with 2 beds can often be more problematic then in most other parts of the country.

If a room with 2 beds is a must (vs a want) HOTWIRE may be a better option, searching for 2adults/1 child as this will ensure separate sleeping accommodations, although note that the second 'bed' could be a rollaway, sofabed, etc.
