outsidah421 Posted July 30, 2010 Report Posted July 30, 2010 Hi Everyone, I'm new to this site and hoping it can help me plan my Hawaiian vacation like it has for many others. I want to stay in any of the Resort level hotels in the Waikiki Beach Zone from 9/17 - 9/20. I want to spend at max 125/night before taxes and fees. I see a lot of success stories that fit my criteria. But the whole bidding and rebidding gets a little confusing. Can someone show me the strategy on how to bid so I still end up in a Resort level hotel, in Waikiki Beach, with out bidding over 125/night.Thank you guys so much in advance.
thereuare Posted July 31, 2010 Report Posted July 31, 2010 At the Resort level you have FOUR re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select Resort Waikiki Beach...Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $110If the above is rejected just post back and we'll revise to try again up to $125 limit. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
