sillybean Posted July 30, 2010 Report Posted July 30, 2010 Can someone please help me identify this 5-star hotel on Las Vegas Strip - North? I did a search for 2 people, 1 room for 08/17/10 to 08/19/10 and the price was $133/night.This hotel features the following amenities:CasinoFitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business CenterGolf NearbyTennis NearbySpa ServicesThis hotel is recommended in 95% of Hotwire customer reviews and has an overrall satisfaction of 4.5/5.Also, it says that this hotel does not charge an additional resort fee. I'm thinking this is probably the Wynn? Can someone confirm?
thereuare Posted July 30, 2010 Report Posted July 30, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding! The amenities above match both the Wynn and the Venetian so either of these are likely, but i'd favor this being the Wynn and that would be my best guess for this one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. sillybean Posted August 5, 2010 Author Report Posted August 5, 2010 Hi there,This is my first time using PRICELINE. I need a hotel for August 17-19th (2 nights). I prefer the Wynn, Encore, Palazzo or Venetian. If I was to bid for a 5-star hotel located on the Vegas Strip North, is there any chance that I will get Trump Towers? I want to avoid Trump Towers. Also, the median retail price for my search is $174. How much do you think I should bid? I am willing to pay up to $130 before tax.
thereuare Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread.Unless the zone boundaries change you shouldn't win the Trump Towers when bidding the Strip North zone as that property is in the Strip North Condo zone.If you want to try bidding on PRICELINE, as the 5* level you have ELEVEN re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 5* Strip North...Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $113, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $118, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $123, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $125, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $128, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $130Any questions feel free to ask. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes.
