joshualeewilson Posted July 30, 2010 Report Posted July 30, 2010 Looking for 5* hotel for 8/13-8/15!! any tips?? can i get the wynn under $100 or do I have to do the trump?
yellowdog Posted July 30, 2010 Report Posted July 30, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding!Trump and Wynn are not in the same zone any longer. If you want to avoid the trump so bid only in the Strip North zone.If you would like to get help with a bidding strategy so please post your budget/night. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Yellowdog.
thereuare Posted July 30, 2010 Report Posted July 30, 2010 It's not clear from your post if you were asking if you could avoid the Trump OR if the Trump is all your budget will allow for at the 5* level?Based upon current rates i don't think you'll be successful for a 5* North Strip hotel at $100 or under.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. joshualeewilson Posted August 2, 2010 Author Report Posted August 2, 2010 I'd like to find a 5* in the $150 to less range. I will stay at the Trump if I can get something under $100, but I'd rather stay at the Wynn if I can get something under that $150 mark.
thereuare Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 To confirm... did you want to bid up to $150 for a 5* hotel in the Strip North zone first, then if rejected try for the Trump?Do i have it right? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. joshualeewilson Posted August 3, 2010 Author Report Posted August 3, 2010 That sounds right. I would rather have the trump for under $100 if the wynn's last take was $150. But if I could get the Wynn for anything under that, I would take that.

joshualeewilson Posted September 26, 2010 Author Report Posted September 26, 2010 Update* Come to find out I had a deal through my company that got me the Palazzo for $99/night, but I recently used Priceline to bid for a 4* hotel in Chicago in Magnificent Mile area and got the Hilton Downtown Chicago for $90/night. Thanks Priceline!
