cabeach Posted July 29, 2010 Report Posted July 29, 2010 Max Bid was $60 (since Hotwire was $69 for the area) and I didn't think I would get since it's the last summer weekend before Labor Day...Bid HistoryCosta Mesa-Irvine $50 + Newport-Huntington $55 + Seal Beach-North Huntington-Fountain Valley $60 (WIN!!!)I knew that there wouldn't be any 4-stars for that cheap in the other regions so I took a shot. This is my first purchase on priceline! Add $31.26 for taxes/fees and the total 3 night stay was $211.26! Hilton.com shows total $321.09 for the fully pre-paid (room selected at check-in).Does anybody know if there's free parking in the area? The hotel charges $21 to self park!!! Any other tips for this hotel? Thanks!

Tried to bid from priceline for next 2 months stay, but ended up getting Westin South Coast Plaza on 1st night at $62, we will moved to stay at Hilton Costa Mesa on second night. Paid $99+tax on this one for advance purchase. Want only Hilton on second night, husband have some errand to do here and don't want to walk from Westin on second night.As for parking, someone on tripadvisor suggested us to find street parking on Ludington Street (see mapquest for location) and use free Wi-Fi at McDonald across the street from hotel. This would save a bunch.There is Japanese supermarket near Hilton called Mitsuwa, I suggest you to try food court there if u like Japanese food. It is tasty and inexpensive.
