Louloug Posted July 28, 2010 Report Posted July 28, 2010 Hi there,I just found this website online and read many good things.Just wanted to ask some questions if I may:-if booking now for a trip in october, when is best to do so? Am I too early now?-for bidding on hotels- does it ever go wrong? Or can you decide to decline an offer?-are you charged at the time of the bid for the full stay?-i stayed in the Radisson on Lexington and got a good deal for 6 nights of 495
thereuare Posted July 29, 2010 Report Posted July 29, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding!-if booking now for a trip in october, when is best to do so? Am I too early now? You're not too early, but also shouldn't raise your bid too much too soon. See the related 'bid early or close to arrival' link in our PRICELINE FAQ.-for bidding on hotels- does it ever go wrong? Or can you decide to decline an offer?PRICELINE and HOTWIRE reservations are non-refundable, non-cancellable, etc. Once your bid is acceped (or you purchase a HOTWIRE hotel) and learn the name, you own it.-are you charged at the time of the bid for the full stay?Your charged in full at the time of your purchase. This is likely going to be an expensive time in NYC... what is your maximum bid per room per nite? Are your dates firm? (if so what are they) How many room are you seeking/guests?Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
