Priceline Hotel: 3.5* Cleveland (Downtown) Crowne Plaza City Centre

I knew this could happen, bidding 3.5* and getting Crowne Plaza (should not be 3.5*)

Internet and TA reviews aren't good

I'll have my fingers crossed!!

Reviews are often discussed on the board, and I will say to keep in mind that people who paid full price may have differing expectations. I can't tell you how many times that I've stayed in a hotel at a good PRICELINE rate and thought the stay was fine (or great), but realized that I clearly would have a different viewpoint if I were to have paid twice as much (or more.)

Serious issues are certainly something to be concerned about, but I think beyond anything else with reviews it's a matter of people feeling whether or not they are getting a value.

At $45, you may (well, hopefully!) feel that this property in downtown Cleveland was a fine value, but imagine when you are at the hotel how you would feel if you paid $142 (which is the regular rate for this date.)
