Will need two beds, buddies trip to Wrigley! Could consider Hotwire as well to avoid Boutique rooms and outlying hotels (ie., Ambassador East, Merch Mart, Hotel Felix). Any help would be aprreciated.

While you can request two beds via the hotel, they could say no or charge an additional fee - and there have been a number of examples of both happening at Chicago properties. HOTWIRE would be a better choice in this instance - how many people are in your group? Additionally, while the AE is at the far North end of the NMA area (and so is i the Indigo), the Gold Coast area has a lot of nightlife and restaurants, as well as a Red Line stop right there, which makes for an easy trip to Wrigley.
