Thanks to this board, I received 3 days at the Extended Stay Deluxe for $25 per night. I did use the PRICELINE link.

On the hotel list, this one is a 2* but I saw it somewhere else as a 2 1/2* so I tried the following bids:

On 7/16/10: LBV 3 1/2* $25 Rejected

3 * $25 Rejected

2 1/2* $25 Rejected

Added West Pk $26 Rejected

Today (7/25): LBV 3 1/2* $25 Rejected

3 * $28 Rejected

2 1/2 * $28 Rejected

2 * $25 Accepted!

I've read the reviews, done my research and just wanted a good place to basically sleep that might have a good pool for these 3 nights as my night of arrival will be the only night I will actually be spending much time at the hotel. The plus is the kitchenette which will save more $$ on food! I will be at MK on Monday, Epcot on Tuesday and then Wed-Fri in meetings. I originally was going to stay at the WDW hotel where the convention is, but since these boards have shown me I can get a resort for almost half of the cost, I am going to try another bid for the Wed - Sat for a resort and will post those results later in another thread.

THANKS SO MUCH TO EVERYONE!!! :)

I should have come back earlier and posted information on this stay, so sorry it took me so long!

In hindsight, I wish that I had stayed my entire week at this hotel. To me, it was awesome! The room was large with 2 nice, comfy queen beds! There was a sleeper sofa, coffee table, end table, and a flat screen tv that rotated so you could watch from either the couch, kitchen, or beds. Two large windows in the room also and two closets! The mirror, sink, and counter were separate from the bathtub & toilet. One closet had a safe inside along with the iron & ironing board. The kitchenette had a full size fridge with freezer & ice maker, sink, microwave, 2-burner stove, toaster & a mini dishwasher. Plenty of cooking utensils were also provided.

There was a complimentary breakfast that consisted of coffee, juices, milk, bagels, mini muffins, cereal, and various fruit.

The swimming pool was nice sized with a courtyard around it with tables and chairs to sit at. People congregated here at night time talking (and smoking since the inside of the hotel was all non-smoking). The hotel is located at the end of a quiet street full of other hotels and shopping strips, but yet was just around the corner from the downtown disney area. The front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful.

If I go back to this area of Orlando again, I will definately try to stay here again.
