Using the PRICELINE link above, I tried $45 and $50 for 3 1/2 stars. Those bids were rejected and I had to add a zone with each re-bid with $55.00 accepted. I saved $61.00 from their lowest prepaid rate on their website.

Thanks for being here to help with the research!

Oops, it had been in the subject line, I didn't notice it was missing when I previewed. This stay is for one night only Friday, August 6, 2010.

As a warning for others doing research for this area... This morning I looked at the hotel's reviews on TripAdvisor and I'm shuddering; questionable cleanliness, thin walls, inconsistent cooling, and a charge of $9.00/day parking. Obviously I haven't yet seen the place for myself but if any of this makes you cringe I suggest not adding the Needham zone when you're bidding.

If you have an issue while you're there i would bring it to the attention of the hotel management to see if they can remedy the situation.

Hope your stay goes better then you expect, and fortunately just for one nite... let us know your thoughts upon your return.

I got locked out of this site for awhile, some weird computer glitch so I didn't get a chance to post about my experience at the hotel. But I did on tripadvisor. I'm back to this wonderful board to research for another hotel in the metro south area of Boston again and wanted to make sure that I avoid last summer's hotel. I clicked on my user name, found my post, got my info and thought I'd do an update on our experience.

The title of my TA post was "moldy shower curtain liner"

What else can I say?

There were other tired aspects of the room that will just sound too picky to mention. The bed was comfortable and bedding was clean. The room was either too cold or too hot; too cold where it was set when we arrived and moving the thermostat up ONE degree shut off the AC and it blew heat.

And then there was the $9.00 extortion fee for the parking.

We paid $55 for one night through Priceline and it's an avoidable hotel given the stars and its Priceline area if you so desire.
