Priceline Hotel: NYC October 4-10 Bidding strategy 3,5*- 4*....please

Hi!

I am new in this forum and need help in bidding for two rooms in NYC. (Sorry for my bad english as i'm from Austria.... :) ).

I'd like two rooms 3,5* - 4*. Should be in MSG, MTE, MTW, TS, or another area you suggest.

Do you think its possible to get rooms not expensiver than 130 $? Is there a difference in the room price if there is just one person staying in one of our two rooms?

Unfortunately, NYC properties are extremely expensive for these dates - $130 is not going to be enough for a 4* and unfortunately will not likely be enough for a 3.5*. $130 as a bid may possibly be successful at the 2.5* level in the above zones.
