FloridaMagpie Posted July 24, 2010 Report Posted July 24, 2010 Hello all,I am looking at a Hotwire $179 per night with 80% customer satisfaction and the following amenities:FitnessRestaurantBusinessHigh SpeedBased on the list this could easily be W or Omni... anyway to tell which? Sounds like Omni is a better deal.I am not hung up on staying MTE, this just seemed like the best bang for the buck on Hotwire. Prefer something reasonably close to subway, definitely don't require a touristy area. Thanks in advance and I promise to let you know what I choose either way! (We are also considering a non Hotwire hotel, Hotel East Houston, but I will fill you in.)
AaronJB Posted July 24, 2010 Report Posted July 24, 2010 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)This could possibly be the Omni or W; unfortunately in this case there's no way to narrow it down for sure. Given rates for these dates, PRICELINE may be a good option if you are flexible on which hotel you may get.If you do book the East Houston (which looks like a hidden gem; it was first reported to the board as a PRICELINE win a couple of weeks ago), please do use the site's regular rate service links in the support/travel section. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
FloridaMagpie Posted July 24, 2010 Author Report Posted July 24, 2010 I ended up going PRICELINE instead, and got W New York (truthfully not exactly what I was hoping for but I know how these things go) for $130. Good price, at least.
AaronJB Posted July 24, 2010 Report Posted July 24, 2010 Sorry to hear that you are a bit disappointed with the result, but glad to hear you are satisfied with the rate, which is an excellent discount.Thank you for sharing your win and using the site's PRICELINE link.Enjoy your stay.
