Hotwire Hotel: 4* NYC (MTE) W New York

Hello all,

I am looking at a Hotwire $179 per night with 80% customer satisfaction and the following amenities:

Fitness

Restaurant

Business

High Speed

Based on the list this could easily be W or Omni... anyway to tell which? Sounds like Omni is a better deal.

I am not hung up on staying MTE, this just seemed like the best bang for the buck on Hotwire. Prefer something reasonably close to subway, definitely don't require a touristy area. Thanks in advance and I promise to let you know what I choose either way! (We are also considering a non Hotwire hotel, Hotel East Houston, but I will fill you in.)

This could possibly be the Omni or W; unfortunately in this case there's no way to narrow it down for sure. Given rates for these dates, PRICELINE may be a good option if you are flexible on which hotel you may get.

If you do book the East Houston (which looks like a hidden gem; it was first reported to the board as a PRICELINE win a couple of weeks ago), please do use the site's regular rate service links in the support/travel section.

I ended up going PRICELINE instead, and got W New York (truthfully not exactly what I was hoping for but I know how these things go) for $130. Good price, at least.
