This was a bid I made on the fly tonight for friends who are stuck at O'Hare because of severe weather in Chicago and elsewhere in the Midwest.

First bid rejected: $65, ORD North zone, 4*

Second bid accepted: $70, added 3.5*

All-in price was $88. I might have been able to bid a little lower but I wanted to get them a room quickly. My friends are price-sensitive but would rather (I think) pay $88 for the Marriott than $68 for the Red Roof Inn in Palatine.
