Priceline Hotel: NYC <$150 on 3/29 3*

I can't find anything in NYC on priceline or hotwire under $150 for one night 3/29. At least 3 stars. Any ideas?

You can get a 1BR suite at the Beekman Tower for $149 and the REVIEWS are excellent.

Just over your budget (but no booking fees on this or the one above, so just about equal to a $150 priceline bid) is the Millenium UN for $159/nite.

I'll probably take the Millenium, thanks.

I know it will be more, but do you know of any good deals at the nice ones like the Le Parker Meridien or the like?? ....on the same date.

You can try the EasyClickTravel Search Tool and use the drop down menus on the left and right... but the Le Meridien are listed as 'on request' which means they have already sold their allotment of rooms for that nite. They will contact the hotel and see if they can get additional rooms at their block rate, but i've been told that this hotel in particular almost never gives additional rooms.

I did a request for the Le Meridien Parker on Easy-Click, last night.

How long does it usually take to get a response?

Also, which hotels often fill the requests in NY?

Supposed to be 48 hours, but as they've been doing a lot more business lately, it can often take longer (they're trying to rectify this)... however, i believe that the Le Meridien is one hotel that almost never grants 'on request' reservations :)

Stayed at Millenium UN for $169 on easy-click. It was nice, but the parking lot mgrs hit me for an extra day because I parked for a few minutes longer than 24 hrs. The hotel wouldn't help me out at all.
