tone363 Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 Hello there....I have been browsing around the board trying to get a feel on what hotels are being won in Chicago and am wondering when I should start trying to bid on a hotel for our trip to Chicago. We just booked it a couple of days ago and have used Priceline in the past to Chicago with great luck. We are looking to stay again in the Michigan Ave area and would love to get a 4* again. I was just not sure when to try to start our bidding and if anyone had any advice on what to start the bidding at. Also seeing as though our trip is over a month away do you always suggest trying the rebid zones or do you wait until the next day? Last time we went I know Chicago had several rebid zone options. Anyways thanks in advance.

tone363 Posted July 23, 2010 Author Report Posted July 23, 2010 Done....expected budget is we would ike to stay at or below $100 a night for the hotel. We had staed in the NMA are before and really enjoyed it so looking for something like that again. Thanks
AaronJB Posted July 24, 2010 Report Posted July 24, 2010 September in Chicago is generally a busier and at least somewhat more expensive time in the city. For a 4* bid in the NMA-River North area I'd start at $80 (although that may be a lowball bid) and work higher by $5's up to $100. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
