dmulvaney1 Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 I'm currently debating if i should use bidding on HOTWIRE / PRICELINE. I will be in New York for 4 nights in early oct. My price range is around $200 dollars, I NEED to stay somewhere near times square/ theatre distict, due to the fact i will be spending most of my time at the broadway shows. I'd like something around 3 stars, nothing fancy, but clean, neat, and good location. Can someone help me??? :)
yellowdog Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding :) If you're trying to target a specific property then HOTWIRE can often be a better option if you're successfully able to identify it based upon the star rating and amenities shown before your purchase... the trade-off is that HOTWIRE usually costs a little more than PRICELINE, so you need to decide what is most important to you for a given stay, the lowest possible price OR the ability to take an educated guess as to the property you may receive. Can you please post your dates for the stay.Let us know how we can help you further. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Yellowdog.
thereuare Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 I'm currently debating if i should use bidding on HOTWIRE / PRICELINE.Have you used either service before? What would be the reason for not using them?My price range is around $200 dollars...I see the dates in your topic title of 10/6-10/10 and rates are very expensive during this time of year. Have you seen anything within your budget thru conventional booking channels? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
