Priceline Hotel: 5* London (Mayfair - Soho) Le Meridien Piccadilly

I started at $125 for a 5* in Mayfair for 4/29-5/1 (Fri and Sat nite), and got rejected.....but they countered with $192. I accepted, and got the Le Meridien Piccadilly.....

All in all, I'm pleased.....probably could've gotten a 4* for less, but since I'm staying for 5 nights using Hotel points at the Park Lane, I figured I'd splurge and stay in the same neighborhood.

This was my 1st experience using Priceline, and the tips on this site really helped!

Congratulations on your win and i'm glad you found the site helpful in your first priceline attempt. A suggestion would be to ask for a bidding strategy before bidding next time, as jumping from $125 to $192 is too big of a leap (in my opinion). As well, priceline counter offers can almost always be undercut, as discussed in PRICELINE SUGGESTS PRICE TO PAY.
