i'm looking for a 5* strip north for 8/20-8/22. I'm hoping to get a 2 queen room. Do you get to pick your bed selection on priceline? How do you know what type of room style you are getting? Also, anybody have success on those dates? Please let me know. Thanks!!

Welcome to Betterbidding. :)

PRICELINE only guarantees 1 bed/double occupancy. There is no way to ensure exact bedding type, but you can make a request with the hotel - however, the hotel could say no or require an upgrade fee. HOTWIRE will ensure appropriate bedding for your entire party; if you select more than 2 people, the hotel should provide bedding (2 beds or 1 + sofabed) for your entire party. Reservations for both discount services ensure a regular, non-upgraded room.

If you would like assistance with your stay, please let us know desired budget per night and how many are in your party.

Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

Help would be great! We're a total of 5 people.

One option is to get 2 bedrooms at around $100/night at either Wynn/Venetian. 2 in one room and 3 in the other.

The other option is to book 1 room at Venetian w/ 2 queens at around $150/night. So we could all fit on the 2 queens plus sofa.

Let me know how you can help! Thanks!

I have found that most front desk staff gives you the choice when booking through PRICELINE. Especially if you get there before check in. Call ahead once you confirm and request it they will usually honner your request I'm usually really nice when asking. Just mention that you will leacve a good or bad review depending upon their abbility to ensure your happiness.

This can be a bit more difficult in Vegas where many hotels now charge extra for more than double ocupancy.

As well, some hotels, include the Venetian, consider a room with 2 beds to be an upgrade (from the standards King bedded room) and charge extra (some users report not being charged extra while others report no way around the additional charge)
