Priceline Hotel: Bidding help needed - Aruba resort 9/3 to 9/7

Looking to travel to Aruba between 9/3 and 9/7. Looks like HOTWIRE has the Westin for $99 a night, which is my ballpark price. But, my preferred choices would be the Marriott or Hyatt --- just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for bidding and winning at those. What are the chances my bid sticks me with the Renaissance?

You can't bid on a specific hotel when using PRICELINE. You need to be willing to stay at any Resort in the zone you're bidding at.

And i'm sorry to say that we can't give you an estimate how big the chance is to get the Renaissance vs. Marriott. You need to know your zone really well to have some sort of odds here. There's so many factors in play when you place a PRICELINE bid. But i would like to add that you need to be willing to stay at the Renaissance when bidding since we see this hotel "often" comparing to the rare Hyatt.
