We are staying 1, maybe 2 nights in Indianapolis. Driving in from Dubuque, Iowa on our way down to Nashville. Any recommendations on sections of town to stay in? Or any parts not to stay in? We will have a car.

We have two children under 3yrs and plan to visit the Children's Museum, maybe the zoo and would love other recs on things to do, places to eat, etc.

We have no preference on amenities, prefer to have comp breakfast, but not required, we have never been to Indianapolis, so have no idea where to start. Budget caps out at $60/night before taxes/fees.

We love this site and used it and the links to book our travel to Chicago in May.

TIA for any assistance you can provide!

The Childrens Museum is not located in any HOTWIRE zone and it appears that the zoo is just west of the Downtown area.

HOTWIRE has what appears to be the Comfort Suites City Centre is available for $45/nite and if correct, self parking is $10/nite, keeping you within your $60 budget. The HOTWIRE hotel offered gets good reviews from HOTWIRE customers (95% Recommended, although i don't put too much faith in this figure) and includes Breakfast.

Would this work for your plans?
