Newbie please help! Is there anyway to bid on a 4* Ft. Lauderdale Beach and stay clear of The Pier 66? I will be traveling 8/12-8/15. I am willing to bid $90-$100.

I'm sorry to say that you can't avoid Pier 66 if bidding for the beach zone. The best thing is to go with HOTWIRE for this zone.

I took a quick look at HOTWIRE and there's some nice hotels for good money.
