bdsisme Posted July 21, 2010 Report Share Posted July 21, 2010 Just needed a place to stay after Disney on Thursday and before heading to San Diego on Friday... used this bidding combination and eventually got the 3.5* Doubletree Santa Ana/OC Airport for $44 for 7/29/10-7/30/10.$37 3.5* Costa Mesa/Irvine -- Priceline offer to rebid by increasing by $10, I rejected$40 3.5* Costa Mesa/Irvine + Laguna Beach -- rejected$42 3.5* Costa Mesa/Irvine + Laguna Beach + Newport/Huntington Beach -- rejected$44 3.5* Costa Mesa/Irvine + Laguna Beach + Newport/Huntington Beach + Dana Pt/San Clemente -- acceptedUnfortunate that I'll still have to pay resort fees and parking out in Santa Ana, but I think it's still a pretty good deal. Rack rate is $129 and the opaque Hotwire price seems to be $61. Link to comment
