Priceline Hotel: Kansas City MO (MCI) 3.5* failed bids

I was looking for a single night at either the Hilton or the Marriot at the airport and failed at $40,50,60,65 over 2 days

Although the star rating, and inventory can differ, i noted HOTWIRE does not have any 'opaque' inventory for this nite in the Airport zone... this may or may not be reflective of PRICELINE's inventory, but it is something to take note of. How high are you willing to bid before lowering your star rating to 3* or booking thru traditional booking channels.
