alitheia Posted July 19, 2010 Report Posted July 19, 2010 Thank you for better bidding !Last few days I tried to get a room in downtown... but no luck. I tried $85 ~ $110 for 4 star hotels.Today, I changed place to Burnaby and I tried $65 .. denied and I accepted $67 at Hilton Vancouver Metrotown.Offer price : $67 (USD)Room : 1Nights : 3Subtotal : $201+ Tax, fee Total : 240.99 (USD)I used the PRICELINE link which is top of this site.This is out of topic.. but I'm curious.I noticed the HOTWIRE.com makes different rate based on region?I mean.. My friends and I tried to book together.. They live in California and I'm in Arizona.When we searched the same time, we found that we saw different prices rate..at the same area the same 4 star hotel..eg.. I found that $79 for hotel four-star at Burnaby. At the same time my friends found that $85 for hotel four-star at Burnaby.The total price was also different.. Is it normal?? ;;
yellowdog Posted July 19, 2010 Report Posted July 19, 2010 Congratulations on your success!Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding :) We hope you're satisfied with the outcome and will like the Hilton.Enjoy your stay.Yellowdog.I noticed the HOTWIRE.com makes different rate based on region?Yes, this is normal. But it's not a "region" thing, they often fluctuate the rates from search-to-search by a few dollars.
