last unicorn Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 Hello, Just wanted to say thanks for the tips, I just got the Wynn using the HOTWIRE link from this site for Sept 3rd for 4 nights!!! (yes that includes the expensive labor day holiday!) I am thrilled!!! Got it for $148 per night. Amenities that showed were as follows: (note it did not say resort icon, and it DID SAY no resort fee... so wonder how that will happen) will call hotwire to make sure they stick to the advertisement.Las Vegas Strip - North area Hotel casinofitnesspoolrestuaraunt on sitebusiness centertennis nearbygolf nearbyspaI will add to the win Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins now. atlanticsun11 Posted July 19, 2010 Report Posted July 19, 2010 I have been wondering about the wynn resort fee on hotwire as well. I know it is Wynn policy to add a $20 fee but if hotwire says no fee does it get applied? Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this?
yellowdog Posted July 19, 2010 Report Posted July 19, 2010 last unicornwill call hotwire to make sure they stick to the advertisement. Please report back to the board with the outcome of that call.atlanticsun11We don't have any current information about this. last unicorn Posted July 20, 2010 Author Report Posted July 20, 2010 good news! I called and confirmed with the manager at the Wynn, there is NO RESORT Fee for HOTWIRE guest for 2010! It was part of the negotiated corp contract with HOTWIRE. When the contract expires at the end of the year, THERE WILL THE RESORT FEE for 2011. But for 2010, the advertisement is correct, and you will not be charged the fee! Woohoo!~lastunicorn.
AaronJB Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 Thank you for the follow-up! :) Certainly a nice added bonus for HOTWIRE Wynn winners.
