Priceline Hotel: 4* Las Vegas (Fremont Street Vicinity) Golden Nugget

As I mentioned in my earlier thread, I got South Point on 8/6-8/8 for $60,

I want to get 4* on 8/4-8/6, but don't want to spend beyond $49 (Golden Nugget retail price),

because these two days would focus on shopping, and nothing much about the strip.

But I still want to try my luck on the 4* on North Strip (don't want Luxor, so no South Strip),

So I included Fremont st. and North Strip,

1st bid, 25, rejected (interesting that the "median retail price" shown by Priceline was $23 :) )

2nd bid, 30, rejected

3rd bid, 35, rejected

4th bid, 40, accepted by Golden Nugget (I guess no luck on TI and Mirage :) )

20% off retail price, better than nothing... :)

I will use the tipping trick to try my luck, too!

Next try, 8/8-8/10 5* on the strip (no Trump... :o )

And yes, I used the PRICELINE hyperlink from the forum!

P.S. : the topic was wrong...it should be Fremont Street Vicinity, but I don't know how to change... sorry about that
