ms9 Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 We'd like to have a 4* room and need 3 rooms from 7/24-7/27, I keep getting declined, I've upped my bidding to $140 for 4*. Any suggestions for best area and amounts to bid? We have children and teens with us. Thanks for any help! I would love to have the Marriott Marquis in times square, but it's only a 3.5* and I'm worried if I include 3.5* in my bidding I may get something undersireable, any suggestions? Has anyone had good results with central park or empirestate building areas?
AaronJB Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)PRICELINE only guarantees 1 bed/double occupancy. Will you have more than 2 people per room? NYC hotel rooms are quite small, and there's a definite risk of not getting two beds when using PRICELINE. HOTWIRE would be a better choice in this case. Please provide your desired budget per night, star rating and which zones you are interested in bidding for (if you do want to use PRICELINE, despite the possible bedding issue.) You can find the list of reported PRICELINE wins for NYC in the Priceline Hotel List.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
