jiggz06 Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 Newbie here. I have noticed that a lot of people have been having a lot of success on getting the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort and Spa Wailea Area Maui for around $93 to $99 a night. I would greatly appreciate on what steps are needed in order to have the same success. Staying in Maui from 8-20-10 to 8-26-10. So what star rating should i start the bid with?
thereuare Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding! The Wailea Marriott is "Resort" rated by PRICELINE, however, when using PRICELINE you can't bid on a specific property and you have to be willing to accept any Resort rated hotel in the zone that you select. While the marriott is currently the only 'known' resort rated property reported to the board, there could always be others, or a hotel previously reported at a lower star rating could be upgraded to a Resort, and you could be the first to report it.Let us know if you have any questions regarding the above, and if you would like to move forward with PRICELINE, let us know your maximum bid and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
