Hotwire Hotel: 3* Chicago (Magnificent Mile-Streeterville) Inn of Chicago

Hi everybody

I will be in Chicago from Wed, Aug 4 till Mon, Aug 9. For the first two nights I've found a good deal on HOTWIRE (Inn of Chicago for 72$/night).

Now I'm searching for a hotel for the rest of the time (8/6-8/9). It shouldn't bee expensive and I'm travelling on my own. All the central hotels lokk very expensive during this period, but I don't know Chicago yet. So I wonder how unconvinient it would be to sleep in a hotel near one of the airports or in the holiday in Skokie (52$/night at hotwire).

Please write some of your experiences and hints which area would be best. On the Sunday of this period I'll watch a game at Wrigley field.

The price was 72$/night for single occupancy.
