joshlitt Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 My wife and I are looking to stay at the Venetian 5/26 and 5/27, I was wanting to use Priceline and see what kind of deal I can get there. I am unsure which area to search on, I think it would be the Las Vegas Strip Vicinity, but does anyone know how many 5* hotels there are on the strip, the only other one I know of is Bellagio. I would not be unhappy staying there, but just don't want to get stuck at Lake Las Vegas or something off the wall. I just went in and chose $109 a night as a start and it acted like it was going through, so I don't know? Thanks in advance for your help.
joshlitt Posted March 8, 2005 Author Report Posted March 8, 2005 I guess Four Seasons is another one I would not want to end up at that is probably 5 star.
joshlitt Posted March 8, 2005 Author Report Posted March 8, 2005 Actually it didn't take the $109, I just tried up to $149 a night and it has been rejected.
thereuare Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 Welcome to BetterBidding!A Thur-Sat stay? Are you willing to SPLIT THIS BID?The Venetian is the only 5* hotel reported here in this zone, but you could get a 5* hotel anywhere within the shaded region (which includes the Four Seasons)... somebody has to be the first to report a new property or change in trend! joshlitt Posted March 8, 2005 Author Report Posted March 8, 2005 I would really hate to switch hotels since were only there two nights.
thereuare Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 ....and if not successful with Priceline or HOTWIRE would you book direct or stay someplace else? This is likely going to be a tough win given the Friday nite, and if you are successful, you will likely be overpaying for the Thursday nite.
