luckylager Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 Any tips on what it's going to take to get a 4*+ in Vancouver (Downtown, Granville, City Hall) for July 26 - 28? I've tried $105, $110, and $120 with no luck.
yellowdog Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 Please follow-up your previous Hotwire Toronto thread with whatever you ended up doing for that stay... then bump this thread and we'll have a look at the above. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Yellowdog.
thereuare Posted July 19, 2010 Report Posted July 19, 2010 I'm guessing between $120-$140... how high are you willing to bid for a 4* hotel in this zone?Note that HOTWIRE has what i believe to be the 4* Golden Tulip for $133/nite, but this property has never been reported to the boar thru PRICELINE, so if this property works for your needs you may want to consider a $130 maximum bid, taking the HOTWIRE offer at $133 should your bids less than this fail. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Your thoughts? hns Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 Any tips on what it's going to take to get a 4*+ in Vancouver (Downtown, Granville, City Hall) for July 26 - 28? I've tried $105, $110, and $120 with no luck.Try now if you haven't already. I just won a priceline bid on 07/19/2010 for $78 and got Hyatt Regency for July 28 - 30.
thereuare Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 Although the win reported in the post above and the dates of this thread are adjacent to each other, i don't think there is much correlation between the two stays and this is a good example of how rates can differ from one day to the next... for the dates won hotel direct rates start at $175, whereas the dates of the say in this thread is ~$300/nite.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
