greedo Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 Wow, I used to stay in this town for $45, but things have gotten pretty bad in Worcester... seems to have happened right around the time that the dingy Crowne Plaza closed down in April 2010. This was for a one-night Saturday stay, on 07/17/2010. Priceline kept telling me that my chances were slim for anything below $63, so I tried out $63 and got denied. I was then offered to try again immediately for $78. I tried that, and it took... put me in the Quality Inn & Suites which aren't so great. Total cost with tax: $95.79.I definitely regret having put only 2 stars... I would suggest going with 2.5 to avoid La Quinta and Quality Inn.And don't forget, kids! Use them there PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links at the top of the page to place your bids (like I did, of course).greedo
