This is actually not a deal. While the base rate is $3 cheaper than the internet price, the Tax and Recovery Charge ($10.84) brings it to ~$3 more than what it would be if you booked it through the site and only paid MI taxes (surprisingly cheap <$5). I later read somewhere online that HOTWIRE is only a good deal on 3 stars and up, but I still wouldn't expect to pay more with HOTWIRE! I'll start using this site and others a little better in the future.
