Priceline Hotel: 3* Orlando (Lake Buena Vista-Downtown Disney) Holiday Inn Sunspree

I have never used Priceline or hotwire before. WHich one is best for 2 adults and 2 children in a room in Orlando Disney area. We will be staying for 2 nights in late July.

We want either 3 stars or up. A continental breakfast would be nice but not necessary. The main thing we need is 2 beds in the room. Which is best for this Priceline or Hotwire?

I need help identifying these 2 hotels. Our stay will be July 26-28 and there are 2 adults, 2 kids

First one : Lake Buena Vista Downtown Disney 2 1/2 * 75% customer reviews $35

I got the Holiday Inn sunspree for $48 a night. I noticed it got only 68% postive reviews. If we go and it is horrible do we have any recourse with Priceline? THere are so many negative reviews about this hotel. Maybe we will be lucky and get an ok room.

Unfortunately, there is no option with PRICELINE if the hotel is disappointing, although you can write to let them know if the property is lacking. I will say with this property that I did notice on the tripadvisor reviews that the management is actively responding to concerns and has noted that the property is in the process of renovation - some of the rooms are renovated, and it was noted in one of the responses that this hotel does not assign PRICELINE customers by default to a certain kind of room - they do take requests and at least try to fill them, and I would recommend trying to call or write and ask if a renovated room is possible for your dates. Additionally, in terms of tripadvisor reviews, many of those are written by those who paid full price, and expectations may differ. Overall though, hopefully the property will exceed expectations and prove better than the reviews.
