Kozachka Posted July 15, 2010 Report Posted July 15, 2010 Using Price.link link bid for Brentwood 4* hotel starting at $95, hoping to end up with Palomar Westwood for $120-$125 (someone else won it for $121 for 7/17-18/10). Re-used the link every 2-3 bids. Was offered to up the bid to $145 after bidding $125, but decided to continue increasing bids by $5. Used up free re-bids at $130. Restarted again by adding Santa Monica, which has only one 4* hotel that is fairly expensive. Ended up with Palomar $145, which I am happy about. Hotel gets excellent reviews, and the next cheapest price for this hotel was $186 plus tax at Expedia and more than $200 elsewhere.
