Priceline Hotel: 3* Atlanta (Northlake) Doubletree Northeast-Northlake

I need to bid on a 3* hotel in the Druid Hills-Emory-Decatur area of Atlanta for end of July. I have been trying to determine the priceline hotels in that area. Here is the list I have come up with:

3* Doubletree Hotel

3* Emory Conference Center

3* Holiday Inn Decatur Conference Center

3 1/2* Marriott Century Center

Are there any others? Also would like to avoid the Holiday Inn (no free parking and furthermost from where I need to be). Any bidding pointers would be appreciated.

Any hotels reported to the board in this zone would be reported in the Pirceline Hotel List.

When bidding on PRICELINE there is no way to target, or avoid, a specific hotel in the zone. If there is a hotel you're trying to target, or avoid, HOTWIRE can be a better option... it may cost a little more than PRICELINE, but you have a better chance of receiving what you want (or avoiding what you don't want)

According to the Priceline Hotel List there is only one 3* (Holiday Inn Decatur Conference Center) and one 3 1/2* (Marriott Century Center). The Marriott is closer to where I need to be so I think I will shoot for it. Any bidding advise for this situation?

As per the comments at the top of the Hotel List keep in mind that the list only contains hotels reported to the board... there could always be others (or a hotel previously reported could have been upgraded to the 3.5* level)

On two separate days I bid on a 3 1/2 * in the Druid Hills-Emory-Decatur area for 7/26/2010-7/27/2020. I went up to $61 ($77.25 w/tax) but was rejected. Today, I changed to a 3* in the Northlake area by bidding:

Norhtlake - $39 - Rejected

Added Union City - $41 - Rejected

Added Stockbridge - $43 - Rejected

Added Morrow - $45 - Rejected

Added Jonesboro - $47 - Rejected

Added Forrest Park - $49 - Accepted (Total: $63.37)

Hotel won was:

Doubletree Hotel Atlanta NE/Northlake

This looks like a nice hotel. I was trying to avoid the 3* Holiday Inn Decatur Conference Center because of parking fee and less than great reviews on several sites. The Doubletree will be about the same distance to my destination (north end of Druid Hills-Emory-Decatur area) as the Holiday Inn.

The 3* Doubletree Hotel Atlanta NE/Northlake needs to be added to the Priceline Hotel List for the Atlanta - Northlake area.
