I've recently discovered PRICELINE page and also this wonderful forum!

I need your help about strategy for biding a 4* or 3,5* hotel in NYC ( From August 4th to August 8th 4 Nights).

I'm from Spain and I would like to stay in a good area to discover this city. I think about TS, MTW, MTE or CPS.

My max budget is 140-150$ per night .

Did you want to try for a 4* hotel up to your limit first and then if rejected try for a 3.5* OR is your goal the least expensive 3.5* or better for this stay?

Also, did you consider including the ESB zone in your bidding?

First I prefer 4* (up to 140$), if rejected 3,5. Perfect ESB! What About MSG or UWS??

are there something on August 4th in NY? Seems all hotels are bit crowded.

There is no 4* bidding offered i the MSG zone... you could include UWS if you'd like, but it's generally considered not as convenient as the other zones.

I mean, If I could get a 4* hotel for less than 140$, then it would be perfect.
