Osti2 Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 Hi Guys!I've recently discovered PRICELINE page and also this wonderful forum!I need your help about strategy for biding a 4* or 3,5* hotel in NYC ( From August 4th to August 8th 4 Nights).I'm from Spain and I would like to stay in a good area to discover this city. I think about TS, MTW, MTE or CPS. My max budget is 140-150$ per night . Thankz in advance!
thereuare Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding!Did you want to try for a 4* hotel up to your limit first and then if rejected try for a 3.5* OR is your goal the least expensive 3.5* or better for this stay? Also, did you consider including the ESB zone in your bidding?Let us know the above and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Osti2 Posted July 14, 2010 Author Report Posted July 14, 2010 Hi again!First I prefer 4* (up to 140$), if rejected 3,5. Perfect ESB! What About MSG or UWS??are there something on August 4th in NY? Seems all hotels are bit crowded.Thankz
thereuare Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 What About MSG or UWS??There is no 4* bidding offered i the MSG zone... you could include UWS if you'd like, but it's generally considered not as convenient as the other zones.Let us know what you decide regarding the zones and we'll suggest a strategy accordingly. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Osti2 Posted July 14, 2010 Author Report Posted July 14, 2010 I suggest these areas(PRIORITY TS) : TS, MTW, MTE , CPS and ESB
thereuare Posted July 15, 2010 Report Posted July 15, 2010 I suggest these areas(PRIORITY TS) : TS, MTW, MTE , CPS and ESBAre you willing to pay more for a hotel in the Times Square zone or is ultimately the lowest price in any of the above zones you're goal? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Osti2 Posted July 15, 2010 Author Report Posted July 15, 2010 Lower price for 4* is my goal. I mean, If I could get a 4* hotel for less than 140$, then it would be perfect. Thanks
