preluder5 Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 Followed everyone' advice and got accepted at $73. My question is, what is a resort fee? How much and howcome? This is my first time in Florida and at a Resort and I have never heard of "Resort Fee"..... just wondering what it entitles you to? Also does anyone know if they offer shuttle service to the airport?
ItsMeCarlos Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 Here is the exact wording from their website regarding the "resort fee".For $20 per room/per night, guests receive access to the Hotel Services Program providing use of resort activities and amenities including: Transportation to Disney, Universal and Sea World; Bicycle Rental; Watersports Rental (Sailboat, Canoe, Kayak, Paddle Boat, Hydro Bike); Court time at Tennis and Racquet Club; 24 Hour Stay-Fit Health Club; Golf Driving Range; In-state Credit Card Calls; Pitch n' Putt (Unlimited); Rock Climbing Wall; Self Parking; Intra-resort Transportation; In-Room Safe; In-Room Coffee/Tea; Wired Internet; Local Telephone Charges (Includes 800/888 codes).
thereuare Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 Congratulations on your success!Glad to see you were able to get the same great rate others have received.Unfortunately the Resort fee does not include shuttle service to the airport. (the hotel website estimates a taxi from the hotel to the airport at $55... cost from airport to hotel may be slightly more if there is an 'airport departure tax' as there is in some cities)Can you please add a reply to this thread with the date(s) of your stay so we can add this information to the topic title and enable your win to appear in the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.THANKS!
