dnaspazz Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 Just found your site, and have not used Priceline before for bidding on hotels. I need a hotel for my wife and 2 children for 7/17- 7/19. I am fine with showing up and asking for a double bed, so Priceline can work for me. I want a 4-star, hopefully Loews, something close to the historic district. I saw that people are winning starting at 70. At what price should I start bidding? If it does not go through the on the first bid, what should I do.Thanks for the help. This site is awesome and I will definetely use the links.
yellowdog Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding :) If you would like to get help with a bidding strategy so please post your budget/night, zone(s) you're willing to stay in.If it does not go through the on the first bid, what should I do.This is why we ask for your max budget/night so we can give you a bidding strategy.I just want to point out that PRICELINE only guarantee a room for two adults. That could mean a room without a double bed. Is this a risk you're willing to take?Let us know how we can help you further.Thanx for using boards PRICELINE link :) Yellowdog.
dnaspazz Posted July 14, 2010 Author Report Posted July 14, 2010 Thanks, sorry I messed up the formatting and info-I want to stay in the downtown area, in a 4*. My max budget is up to the rack rate, which is up 200/night. I would like to shave some off of that! Dates are 7/17- 7/20I am willing to take the risk on the double beds, since my kids end sleeping with us anyhow!I have already taken a shot at priceline- Bid 1 -65 for downtown- Bid 2- 70 downtown and Cherry HillBid 3- 77 downtown, gloucester, cherrryhillbid 4 -100 downtown, glocuester, cherry hill, center lineAt 100, it is still requiring me to change something. What to do?
