londonray Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 Hi there, new to priceline and bidding. Already posted a thread on the NYC subforum. I'm also planning to visit Boston during this trip so here i am. Looking for a 3*-4* hotel for those 2 nights in boston. Budget is around $80 all in for a hotel which is reasonably close to a T-station. Please advise on a bidding strategy? Thank you very much in advance!

londonray Posted July 13, 2010 Author Report Posted July 13, 2010 I've clicked on the PRICELINE link as requested. Hope that someone can advise on the bidding strategy. Thanks!
thereuare Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 There is no option to select a hotel "reasonably close to a T station"... please go to PRICELINE and let us know which zones, by PRICELINE name, you're willing to accept. As well, off the top of my head i don't know the hotel tax rate in Boston, so please let u know your maximum bid amount (not all-in amount)Lastly, are you willing to pay more for a 4* vs. a 3* OR is your goal the least expensive 3* or better for this stay? (although i'll add that if you're looking to stay Downtown, a quick look at your dates it appears that your budget won't be enough... unless you consider the airport or surrounding suburbs)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
