Hotwire Hotel: 3* Magnificant Mile/Streeterville help

First time heading to Chicago. We've been told to try and stay in the mag mile/streeterville area. I've come across this 3* so if anyone has any ideas of possible hotels that match the description and whether it'd would be an ok place to stay that'd be great. We don't plan on spending much time in the room, so we're not looking for an amazing hotel or anything.

This would possibly be either the Holiday Inn Express Cass or the Inn of Chicago. Both are well-located, but basic - the Inn of Chicago is a renovated former Best Western that gets okay reviews; the HI Express is a renovated former budget property that offers breakfast.

My suggestion would be to try PRICELINE instead. If you are looking primarily for a cheap place to stay and are flexible with which hotel you may get and are going to be out most of the day, I'd try and see if $55 was accepted for a 3* in the River North/NMA area. On the high end, I'd say a 4* winning bid in the River North-NMA zone may take $70-80.
