AHOY Matey Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 I'm staying in Chicago 4 nights later this week. I plan on spending three nights in the downtown area, and then on my last night I want to stay at a hotel near O'Hare because I have a 6am flight out of O'Hare. I noticed O'Hare has two zones and was wondering which one is better. I've never been to Chicago before so I don't have any familiarity with the airport, and was wondering if one made more sense then the other.

AHOY Matey Posted July 13, 2010 Author Report Posted July 13, 2010 I decided to check the box's for both north and south. I started bidding at 40 and rebid all the way up to 60. I won the Westin O'HARE for 60. The total after taxes was 76... and please click this HOTWIRE link before replying.
AaronJB Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 Congrats on your success! :)Excellent deal for this O'Hare property which - according to the hotel website - provides free shuttle service every 30 minutes. Aside from the Hilton at the Airport in the North Zone, hotels in both zones are otherwise within reasonable distance to the airport (and a number of them provide shuttle.) I'm guessing this zone was not broken into North and South because of location (as the primary use for either zone would be either a convention at a nearby ORD hotel or using the airport), but possibly because of the increasing amount of hotels in the area. Can you confirm the date of your stay so that this win can appear in the site's Calendar of Wins? Thank you.Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
AHOY Matey Posted July 13, 2010 Author Report Posted July 13, 2010 $60 bid won the Westin O'Hare for 7/18/10
