maxsam Posted March 7, 2005 Report Posted March 7, 2005 We are looking for a bidding strategy for may 4 - 8. We won the hilton last thanksgiving weekend for 150$ a night and had a great stay. We'd like to bid MTW or UM/CPS. would like to bid MTE but would not want to end up at the millenium un so far away. We'd like to stay central and close to all the subways. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We'd like to bid this week. thanks! We are looking to bid 4* or above only.
thereuare Posted March 7, 2005 Report Posted March 7, 2005 Last report was that the Millenium UN was downgraded to a 3* property (no gurantees it will stay at that rating, could be upgraded at any time), but would that change your acceptable zones? How flexible are you on yoru dates, as i don't think you'll be currently be successful for the dates above at $150 or below. maxsam Posted March 7, 2005 Author Report Posted March 7, 2005 We are pretty flexible for dates, we'd like to spend at least 3 nights in NYC. We live in New england and would rather go more often than go for a whole week. we're fortunate not to have to pay for airfare. I would bid MTE 4* and above, but you never know if it will be very far east. hmmm
thereuare Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 What is the date range that you can consider? If you come in the summer you'll likely be able to get a hotel at much cheaper levels.
