Nashville Traveler Posted July 12, 2010 Author Report Posted July 12, 2010 Dates are 12/21 to 12/24. Basically, I should have let it get closer--you never know when your plans can go awry. And the reviews for this place are god awful. Oh well--I'm in...i'll deal. What's 3 nights....
AaronJB Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 Thank you for the follow-up. Reviews are mixed, but the management noted in the most recent review that the hotel is in the middle of renovation; hopefully that will have a positive effect by the time you stay at the property. You could also write the hotel and note that you would greatly appreciate if there was any way you could be booked into a renovated room. The management also posted on tripadvisor that they do not book PRICELINE guests into particular rooms and will try to take requests when possible from PL customers.
Nashville Traveler Posted July 13, 2010 Author Report Posted July 13, 2010 wow--thanks for your follow up. I did call the hotel--believe it or not, they've stopped the renovations--except for an Applebees--all the rooms won't be done. But they said they'll put me in one--normally at a charge but for me...no. We'll see. I love priceline--but in the old days, a 3* was a Marriott or Hilton--not a resort. Today, it's a run down hotel...and that's the sad part. Let's face it--at $40 with the room normally $89, I have a great deal. I need to wait til it gets closer--but that's my thought. And I could have won it a few bucks less--I erred--I meant to go up $1 from my previous bid but went up 5...oh well. Thanks for your followup.
