Priceline Hotel: 4* NYC - 12/11-19/11

Hi,

I'm looking for a 4* Hotel in NYC, I would like to stay in the CPS, MTW, MTE, TS area.

I'll need 4 rooms to spend 7 nights - 12/11-19/11, November is a expensive period?

The maximum we want to pay is $200 per night (including taxes).

This is my first time using Priceline, can you give some help and tips?

November is generally a very busy time in NYC with visitors coming for holiday shopping and holiday festivities.

The number of rooms is usually a non-issue, but if/when it is, it is a negative and not a positive as a hotel needs to have loaded at least as many rooms into the system as you need. For example, a hotel may have entered a discounted rate of $150 but only for 3 rooms... if you were bidding or one room you would be able to with with a bid of $150, but as you need 4 rooms, this hotel's discounted rate wouldn't be available for your stay.

With the above noted, at the moment i'm guessing that your budget will not likely be enough for a 4* hotel for these dates in the zones you've mentioned... it may be enough for a 3.5*.

We can suggest a strategy for you to try for a 4*, but before doing so, do you also want to consider the ESB zone? The 4* hotels reported here are generally considered very nice.

I tried many times but I can't have my offers accepted.

I tried the 4* in CPS, MTW, MTE, TS areas, and the maximum price was $200 plus taxes...it wasn't enough.

How much do you think that's is necessary?

I'm thinking of trying the 3/5* in the same areas, it has good hotels?

Can you suggest a strategy?
